It’s been a tough week for LSU Athletics and it continued on Wednesday with more bad news.

Tigers guard Adam Miller is out for the entire basketball season after he tore his ACL.

Miller was set to make his debut for LSU this season after he transferred from Illinois. He played 1 season with the Fighting Illini and averaged 8.3 points per game and almost 3 rebounds per game to go along with it. He also shot 34% from the 3-point range.

His best game last season came during the opener when he finished with 28 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Before originally committing to Illinois, Miller was part of the 2020 recruiting class and was the No. 2 player in Illinois, plus the No. 6 guard in the country per 247Sports Composite. He also was the No. 33 player overall in that class, regardless of position.

This is a big blow for the Tigers as Miller was looking to pick up where he left off at the end of last season.
