Just as it looked like Michigan State was driving to ice the game, Illinois came up with the huge play it needed!

Sydney Brown had already secured one interception on the game with time winding down in the fourth. Then, he came up with an unbelievable play.

Brown picked off what appeared to be an errant throw by Michigan State’s Brian Lewerke. It was way off target, but Brown broke on the ball and picked it off cleanly.

He hit the sideline at full speed and had plenty of green grass ahead. Brown was off like a rocket and streaked for a touchdown, recording a pick-six to keep the Illini in the game.
