Terrence Shannon Jr., leading scorer for Illinois, will miss Indiana game, per report
Terrence Shannon Jr. has been a dynamic contributor after transferring to Illinois in the offseason. Unfortunately, Shannon is expected to miss Saturday’s game against Indiana with an injury.
According to Jeff Goodman with Stadium, Shannon is out of Saturday’s contest against the Hoosiers due to a concussion suffered against Penn State. The Illini lost that road game against the Nittany Lions and have dropped consecutive road games with losses at Iowa and at Penn State.
It goes without saying but missing Shannon will be a big blow for Illinois in Saturday’s road game at Bloomington. Tip-off is set for 12 pm ET on ESPN.
Illinois will be without TJ Shannon tomorrow at Indiana due to a concussion suffered in the Penn State game, source told @Stadium.
Shannon is averaging 17.5 points per game.

Shannon has appeared in all 25 games for the Illini so far this season and leads the team with 17 points and 1.4 steals per game. He’s also second on the team with 3 assists per game and averages 5 rebounds per game while shooting 43.7% from the field and 32.3% from 3-point range.
We’ll see how the Illini adjust without Shannon on the road in Saturday’s key game against the No. 14 Hoosiers.
