The Fighting Illini will be looking to get the bad taste of losing to Penn State in Champaign out of their mouths. That could very well happen with Alabama A&M up next on the schedule for this Saturday.
Regardless of the recent loss to Penn State, Illinois hoops is still 7-3 on the year. The upcoming Alabama A&M should be a great chance for the team to forget all about the loss to the Nittany Lions, especially if Shannon is in the lineup with how well he’s playing this season.
Illinois will be at home for its second-straight game on Saturday. Tipoff will be at 4 p.m. ET on BTN.
