Terrence Shannon Jr. will miss at least 1 more game for Illinois.

The Illini guard remains in concussion protocol and will miss Monday night’s game against Minnesota, it was revealed before tipoff.

Shannon appeared in the Illini’s first 25 games before missing the close loss to Indiana on Saturday. He has been the team’s leading scorer, averaging 17 points while shooting 43.7% from the field and 32.3% from 3-point range. In addition to being the team’s leading scorer, Shannon is also second on the squad with 3 assists per game.

After Minnesota, Illinois next plays Thursday at home against Northwestern before a Sunday road trip to Ohio State. We’ll see when Shannon is able to return to action as the regular-season wraps up.

Illinois vs. Minnesota is set for 9 p.m. ET, airing on the Big Ten Network.
