Unbelievable snag by Donny Navarro sets up Illinois' first TD vs. Rutgers
Seeking their third straight win, the Illinois Fighting Illini (4-4) are hosting the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (2-6) in a B1G crossover matchup at Memorial Stadium in Champaign.
Following a three-and-out on their first possession, the Illini began to find some momentum on their second drive when redshirt junior Brandon Peters found redshirt sophomore Donny Navarro for a 48-yard gain.

Two plays later, redshirt senior Dre Brown punched it in from 10-yards out for the game’s first points.

Continuing his stretch of strong play, Brown ran for 131 yards on 18 carries (7.3 AVG) in Illinois’ victory over Purdue on October 26.
For Navarro, the 48 receiving yards tied his career-high.
