Lovie Smith is working hard to bring another USC player to Champaign.

Thursday, Illini Inquirer reported that Illinois hosted USC graduate transfer wide receiver Josh Imatorbhebhe for an official visit. He entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this spring.

So far, Illinois has received commitments from USC transfers Oluwole Betiku Jr. (DE) and Trevon Sideny (WR) this offseason. Quarterback Matt Fink showed interest in the Illini earlier this spring, but decided to return to the Trojans.

A 6-foot-2, 215-pound receiver, Imatorbhebhe would be immediately eligible for the Illini as a graduate transfer and would have two years of eligibility remaining. The wide receiver is a former four-star prospect in the 2016 recruiting cycle.

Imatorbhebhe had just two catches for 11 yards during his time at USC. He would add immediate depth at a position of need for the Illini.
