Illinois is battling back after a sluggish start in the season opener against Kent State.

The Illini were definitely hoping for a better performance to start the season. Kent State ended the first half on a 17-0 run and went into halftime with a 17-3 lead over Illinois.

Fortunately, the Illini were able to come out of the half on fire. They scored 14 straight in the second half to battle back and tie the game with the latest score coming in impressive fashion.

Reggi Corbin took a handoff down the left sideline for 39 yards, tip-toeing all the way to the end zone. It was very close, but he stayed inbounds for the score.
