Another member of the Mullen family is heading to Bloomington.

Indiana received a verbal commit from 4-star cornerback Trevell Mullen on Sunday, a huge boost to the program’s 2022 class. He is the younger brother of Tiawan Mullen, currently a starting defensive back for the Hoosiers.

Trevell Mullen is listed as a 5-foot-11, 150-pound cornerback out of Pompano Beach, Florida. He is also ranked as one of the Top 200 overall prospects in the 2022 cycle and a Top 25 talent out of his home state.

“I’d like to thank all the coaches that reached out to me and recruiting me throughout the whole process,” Mullen wrote on Twitter. “With that being said, after speaking with God and my family I will be announcing that I am committed to INDIANA UNIVERSITY.”

Mullen has received a dozen offers on the recruiting front. He picked Indiana over several high-level programs, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Per 247Sports, Mullen has verified results of a 4.75 time in the 40-yard dash, a 4.65 shuttle time, and a 28.1 vertical, all of which comes from The Opening Regional in 2019.

Mullen ranks as the No. 22 cornerback in the class and the No. 181 overall talent. He joins an Indiana class that currently has four pledges and ranks No. 12 in the B1G and No. 57 nationally.
