Possessing identical 8-5 (3-3 Big Ten) records, the Indiana Hoosiers will welcome the rival Purdue Boilermakers to Assembly Hall on Thursday.

Head coach Archie Miller addressed the media on Wednesday, offering some keys to the game and updates on a couple of his student-athletes.

Miller, the younger brother of Arizona Wildcats head coach Sean Miller, is in his fourth year at the helm of the Hoosiers. Prior to making the move to Bloomington, he guided the Atlantic 10 Conference’s Dayton Flyers from 2011-17, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament four times, including a trip to the Elite Eight in 2013-14.

He is still searching for his first NCAA Tournament appearance with Indiana, although the program likely would have been selected in 2019-20, had the event not been canceled by the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Sophomore forward Trayce Jackson-Davis is leading the Hoosiers in scoring at 20.1 points-per-game, while junior forward Trevion Williams paces the Boilermakers at 15.

Thursday’s action will tip at 7 p.m. ET on FS1.
