The Big Ten Network crew came away from training camp in Bloomington pretty excited about what they saw from the Indiana Hoosiers football team.

Howard Griffith, Gerry Dinardo and Joshua Perry all gave their takes on head coach Tom Allen’s Hoosiers, and from the sounds of it they’re expecting some big things.

“There was a time when we would come here and maybe there were two, top-end athletes, that’s not the case anymore here at Indiana,” said Griffith. “Coach Alllen has done a tremendous job of building his roster and that’s one of the main reasons they’re in a position to compete for a B1G title,” said Howard Griffith

Dinarto added that, “we always see skill, but we always said the offensive line needs to improve, to me, that’s the group that made the most progress.”

“The other line of scrimmage looked really good too,” added Perry. “They’ve got a couple guys on the secondary that could end up being All-American players.”

We’ll have a chance to see how it all applies to game-time action, when the Hoosiers travel to Iowa for their season opener on Sept. 4.
