By beating Rutgers, Indiana accomplished something it hadn't done in over a decade
Indiana isn’t a school known for its football program.
Everyone that thinks of Indiana — in terms of sports — will think basketball first. Nonetheless, it’s OK to be good at both sports. That’s allowed.
The Hoosiers’ football team did something Saturday it hadn’t done in over a decade:

Indiana went on the road to face Rutgers, who is struggling mightily. The Hoosiers got off to a 24-7 lead in the first half and despite not scoring in the second, went on to win 24-17. Quarterback Peyton Ramsey finished 27-of-40 for 288 yards and 1 TD.
Indiana is now 4-1 on the season, just two wins away from becoming bowl eligible. The Hoosiers are now 1-1 in Big Ten play with a game at No. 4 Ohio State up next on the schedule.
