Indiana featured a run-heavy game plan against UConn on Saturday, but that might need to change with senior offensive lineman Coy Cronk leaving with an injury.

Cronk suffered an apparent leg injury early in the first quarter against UConn and needed a cart to exit the field.

Cronk has started since his first game as a freshman three years ago and is an offensive captain. Indiana is also already dealing with an injury to starting quarterback Michael Penix, so it’s hard to overstate the the loss of Cronk.

Indiana leads UConn, 7-3, with about five minutes remaining in the first quarter.
