Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers have been the talk of college football, as they are 9-0 entering this weekend’s matchup against Michigan. With that record, the Hoosiers are right in the thick of things regarding the B1G race and the College Football Playoff.

The first version of the CFP rankings comes out Tuesday, and the fans and media are already starting to talk about where they think teams will wind up.

Indiana is 1 of the more interesting teams after an undefeated start but it hasn’t played a ranked team yet. Cignetti isn’t worried about where his team is ranked, as all that matters is how you play wherever you are ranked.

“I’ll see the rankings, but the only thing that really maters is you get the result when you play,” said Cignetti on Monday.

Indiana has done all it could do to start the year as the Hoosiers have been one of the most dominant teams in the country. Heading into their last game against Michigan State, Indiana had not trailed.

The opportunities to show how good the Hoosiers are arrive in the next 2 games, with the first matchup being a home game against Michigan this Saturday. If the Hoosiers win that, then Indiana will be in line for its biggest regular season in a long time on November 23 when they travel to Columbus to take on Ohio State.
