Dasan McCullough, former top-75 recruit, earns praise from Indiana defensive coordinator
Dasan McCullough is pushing for playing time, Indiana defensive coordinator Chad Wilt told reporters
McCullough transferred to Bloomington South High School for the 2021 season. He’s listed as a linebacker on the Indiana roster. A special talent and top-75 overall recruit, McCullough was used in a variety of ways at Bloomington South, getting snaps at edge rusher, middle linebacker, safety, tight end and wide receiver. That versatility may help McCullough see the field this fall.
Wilt praised McCullough for his willingness to work and embrace whatever role the coaches give him.
Wilt said they’re trying not to overload him but finding packages to use him.

McCullough is a true freshman as a spring 2022 enrollee, but it sounds he like has the talent to be a first-year contributor.
Indiana opens the 2022 season against Illinois. Plenty of fans will be hoping to see McCullough, a Hoosier legacy, making plays for the Indiana defense.
