Indiana is off to a 3-0 start in the 2022 college football season. The Hoosiers are about to face their toughest yet.

Tom Allen’s squad is on the road in Week 4 to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats in Nipper Stadium. The Bearcats enter with a blemish on their record (2-1) but are favored on Saturday.

ESPN’s Football Power Index, a simulation-based metric, predicts the outcome of every game. The FPI likes Cincinnati to get the victory at home, giving the Bearcats an 87.7% chance to win Saturday’s game.

Indiana opened the season by defeating Big Ten rival Illinois 23-20. Since then, the Hoosiers have remained undefeated with wins over Idaho (35-22, Week 2) and Western Kentucky (33-30 in overtime, Week 3).

Coming off of a College Football Playoff appearance last season, Cincinnati began the 2022 campaign ranked No. 23 in the preseason AP Top 25. The Bearcats went on the road in Week 1, falling to Arkansas, a team that was then-No. 19 and now No. 10, 31-24 in Fayetteville. The Bearcats are now above .500 with back-to-back wins over Kennesaw State (63-10) and Miami (Ohio) 38-17.

Saturday’s game is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff, airing on ESPN2.
