ESPN’s FPI is back with more predictions for the week ahead in Week 11.

The Hoosiers host Michigan with an opportunity to move to 10-0 under 1st-year coach Curt Cignetti. They are right there in contention for a B1G Championship appearance, as well as a College Football Playoff berth.

This is the last game that separates the Hoosiers from a 10-0 start heading into their showdown with Ohio State on Nov. 23. ESPN’s FPI is giving the Hoosiers nearly an 87% chance to win this game, leaving the Wolverines as huge underdogs at only 13.2%.

The B1G rivals will collide in a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff from Memorial Stadium with the game aired on CBS.

The Wolverines are not going to be able to have a chance to defend their national championship this season, but they could play a big role on what teams make the Playoff. Michigan has remaining games at Indiana and at Ohio State, and an upset in either of those games could ruin their opponents season.

In last week’s game, the Wolverines were dominated from start to finish by No. 1 Oregon. The Wolverines offense continues to be a big issue which has been the case all season long. Michigan finished with only 270 yards in the loss.

Indiana found itself in an unfamiliar situation last week as the Hoosiers were trailing 10-0 against Michigan State. The Hoosiers hadn’t trailed in any of their first 8 games, but the team responded by scoring the final 47 points of the game to get the win. Quarterback Kurtis Rourke returned from a thumb injury, and he didn’t miss a beat with 263 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
