Former Indiana linebacker Tegray Scales has found himself on the Indianapolis Colts practice squad.

On Tuesday, the Colts announced the addition of Scales, who was added to the practice squad after placing linebacker Skai Moore and defensive tackle Al Woods on the Injured Reserve List. Indianapolis also signed free agent safety J.J. Wilcox.

Scales participated in the Los Angeles Rams’ offseason program but was released on Aug. 31. He initially signed with the franchise as an undrafted free agent in May.

Scales is a former All-American selection for the Hoosiers (2016) and tallied 325 tackles, 46 tackles for loss and 18 sacks during his career in Bloomington. He also totaled eight interceptions while at IU.

There are just two regular season games remaining for the Colts, hosting the New York Giants on Sunday and traveling to play the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 30. Indianapolis is 8-6 on the season.
