Former Indiana lineman Caleb Jones has been signed to the active roster by the Green Bay Packers. The team announced the move Tuesday afternoon.

The Packers originally signed Jones on May 2 as an undrafted free agent. Jones did not make the active roster out of camp, but signed to the team’s practice squad. The Packers have an open roster spot with LB Krys Barnes landing on injured reserve.

At Indiana, Jones appeared in 41 games, starting the final 30 contests. He made 24 starts at right tackle and 6 at left tackle. Jones earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors in 2019 from the league’s coaches after making 12 starts at right tackle and one at left tackle. In 2020, Jones was on an Indiana offensive line that led the B1G in fewest sacks allowed per game (1.25).
