Former Indiana MBB coach Tom Crean congratulates former Hoosier hoops star Jordan Hulls on retirement from professional basketball
Tom Crean wanted to make sure he said congrats to former Indiana player Jordan Hulls after his decision to retire from basketball. Crean posted the video from his Twitter account on Thursday afternoon.
Crean coached at Indiana from 2008-2017. He coached Hulls during his time there as well. Hulls announced in May that he will be returning to Indiana as the program’s recruiting coordinator. He last played for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in the Basketball Bundesliga. The 2013 B1G champion will surely enjoy the kinds words from his former coach.
Here is what Crean had to say to Hulls:
“Hey Jordan, your last game,” said Crean. “And you probably feel like you can go another 10 years, and you probably could. What you have put into basketball, and what basketball has given back to you has impacted a lot of people like me, my family, your teammates in Bloomington at Indiana, across the world. I’m incredibly proud to have coached you, and to be your friend. Congratulations Jordan to you and your family. You’ve done incredible things, and you’re just getting started.”
I was honored to be asked by @jonihulls to provide a video for @JordanHulls1 retirement from professional 🏀 We are so proud of the career he has had and we get to watch the coaching career take off at @IndianaMBB pic.twitter.com/nup7Dkbcd0
