The Indianapolis Colts signed former Indiana offensive tackle Jason Spriggs on Friday. He played in Bloomington from 2012 to 2015, appearing in 48 games.

Spriggs has 10 starts under his belt at the professional level. He was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2nd round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Spriggs has also had stints with the Chicago Bears (2020) and the Atlanta Falcons (2021). The Colts also signed DE Bryan Cox Jr.(Florida) and waived DE Cullen Wick (Tulsa).

The team posted about the news from their Twitter account.

Since getting drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2016, Spriggs has bounced around from team to team. For now, the native of Elkhart, Indiana is going to back home to play his in-state NFL team.
