A former Indiana running back has been arrested on felony armed robbery and burglary charges, according to reports.

On Monday, Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star reported that D’Angelo Roberts is accused of forcing his way into a home and robbing someone at knife point. He was booked in Monroe County Jail on suspicion of burglary with a deadly weapon, robbery and two counts of theft.

The incident occurred on July 8 and the victim was familiar with Roberts, as the two attended high school together according to court documents. Roberts then presented a knife to the victim in an aggressive manner and demanded money.

Roberts is a native of Bloomington, Indiana and attended Bloomington North High School. He was a member of the Hoosiers football team from 2011-2014 under head coach Kevin Wilson.

While at Indiana, Roberts rushed for 1,288 yards and 13 touchdowns in four seasons. His best year came in 2014 when he rushed for 493 yards and six touchdowns.

No court date had been set for Roberts when the arrest was reported.
