Here's what Tom Allen said ahead of matchup with No. 10 Michigan State
Indiana will look to bounce back from a shutout loss at then-No. 4 Penn State when they host No. 10 Michigan State in Week 7.
Indiana had a bye last week after the 24-0 defeat vs. Penn State. Indiana coach Tom Allen addressed the media on Oct. 14 in advance of the huge test vs. Michigan State.

Tom Allen’s Zoom presser up. He says Raheem Layne is good to go for Saturday. Said other secondary guys are still on the mend including Reese Taylor and will be closer to game-time decisions.

Allen asked about Gruden, who came to Indiana in 2017: “What I have seen and read doesn’t align with what we believe. … It is not consistent with LEO.”

Allen said he hasn’t studied the situation deeply and only met Gruden that one time he visited, so doesn’t know him very well.

Michigan State at Indiana is slated for Oct. 16 (12 p.m. EST) and will be televised on FS1. Michigan State leads the all-time series 48-17-2. Indiana shut out Michigan State 24-0 in last season’s meeting.
