Here's what Tom Allen said during weekly presser as Indiana prepares for Iowa
Indiana will open its 2021 season with a road trip to Iowa for a Saturday afternoon matchup with the Hawkeyes.
After finishing third in the B1G East Division behind Ohio State and Penn State last season, there is more excitement in Bloomington than has been in years for the opening of the football season.
Hoosiers head coach Tom Allen met with the media on Monday to address some expectation, news, and preparation for the season opener. He discussed quarterback Michael Penix, Jr. and his readiness for the season, as well as the addition of transfer Stephen Carr and the naming of captains for the 2021 campaign.
Here is some of what Allen had to say.
Allen said Stephen Carr is going to be the starting running back. "From Day 1, he came here with zero entitlement at all. Knew he had to earn his spot. Ready to work. Total team guy."
