CJ Gunn reminded everyone this weekend that he’s one of the top high school basketball players in the state of Indiana. The Hoosier signee was named MVP for the Indiana-Kentucky All-Star Series.

Gunn helped the Indiana All-Stars to a pair of dominating wins over the Kentucky All-Stars. The Indiana team defeated the Kentucky squad 104-77 at the Sportscenter in Owensboro, Ky. on Friday night.

In the series finale at Southport High School in Indianapolis on Saturday, Indiana made it 2-0 with a 101-81 victory. Over 2 games, Gunn had 41 points on 14-of-31 field-goal shooting, while going 9-of-10 at the free-throw line.

As a class of 2022 recruit, Gunn is rated 3-stars, the No. 6 Indiana product, No. 24 shooting guard and No. 172 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. He chose the Hoosiers over scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Kansas State, Missouri and Xavier, signing on Nov. 10, 2021.
