Hot start lands Indiana its highest AP poll ranking in over 30 years
Through two weeks, there has been a lot of history made by the 2020 Indiana football team.
Yesterday, the Hoosiers got off to a 2-0 start in Big Ten play for the first time in 1991. On Sunday, the historic nature of this season continued with the release of the latest AP poll.
Again, this is the Hoosiers' highest ranking in the AP poll since they were No. 11 one week in 1987. #iufb

These numbers are eye-popping and just show how long Indiana football fans have been waiting for their squad to finally take things up a notch. For context, the Hoosiers have only ever been to one Rose Bowl and it came back in 1968.
This team might not be bound for Pasadena, but it looks to have a chance to be a major player in the conference race. That status will be tested Saturday when Indiana takes on Michigan in a crucial Big Ten East showdown.
