Tom Allen continues to recruit his home state incredibly well.

On Monday, Indiana received a verbal pledge from another in-state product, offensive lineman Vinny Fiacable. The native of Fort Wayne, Indiana is a two-star offensive guard who will bring a 6-foot-4, 290-pound frame to the Hoosiers’ offensive line as a member of the 2021 class.

He’s the fourth player to give a verbal pledge to IU this cycle. All four are from the state of Indiana.

“I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Indiana University.” Fiacable wrote in a message on Twitter.

Fiacable received offers from 15 programs, several of which were FBS programs. In addition to Indiana, the Fort Wayne native had interest from Cincinnati, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Louisville, Ohio, San Jose State, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan.

Indiana has now received three in-state commitments over the last week, including pledges from three-star offensive lineman Cooper Jones, three-star tight end Aaron Steinfeldt and Fiacable.

The Hoosiers’ 2021 class ranks 11th in the B1G and 42nd nationally currently.
