Indiana adds hometown QB to class of 2022
Indiana added another player to the 2022 recruiting class, and this one came from a hometown prospect.
The player is Reece Lozano, a QB out of Bloomington North. Lozano went unrated by the composite rankings and is listed at 6-foot-1 and 185 lbs.
He revealed via Twitter that he is joining the Hoosiers for 2022:
“First off, I would like to thank my Mom, Dad, and the rest of my family for their support and guidance throughout this entire recruiting process and in life,” wrote Lozano. “Playing for my hometown has always been a dream of mine and I can’t wait for what the next chapter holds. I am very excited to say I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Indiana University.”

Indiana previously did not have a QB in the 2022 recruiting class. That class is ranked No. 17 in the nation.
