Indiana adds in-state DB to 2022 recruiting class

Indiana has added an in-state defensive back to its recruiting haul for the Class of 2022. Greenwood, Indiana native Mitchell Evans is electing to join the program as a PWO.
Evans announced the news on his Twitter account:

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Evans attends Center Grove High School. Evans also had interest from Air Force. Evans is a two-sport star, as he also plays as an outfielder and pitcher on his school’s baseball team.
Indiana is currently 2-6 overall and seventh place in the B1G East. Indiana is coming off a 38-35 loss at Maryland on Oct. 30. Indiana’s last victory was vs. Western Kentucky on Sept. 25.
Next up for Indiana is a road matchup at No. 6 Michigan on Nov. 6 (7:30 p.m. EST/FOX).
