Indiana has made the hire of new assistant coach Yasir Rosemond offiical.
On Wednesday, Indiana head coach Mike Woodson announced the hire of Rosemond. He will bring over 15 years of coaching experience to the Hoosiers staff for the 2021-22 season.
“I’m excited to finalize our coaching staff with the addition of Yasir,” Woodson said in a statement. “He brings a great deal of experience at schools like Alabama, Georgia and Oregon and has been a big contributor to their success and worked with and recruited a number of young men who were able to develop and take their game to the next level.”

Rosemond spent two years on Avery Johnson’s staff at Alabama after a three-stop at Georgia. He also made stops at Oregon and Samford during his coaching career.
Woodson has now hired Kenya Hunter (from Archie Miller’s staff) and Dane Fife (from Michigan State) and Rosemond to help round out his first staff in Bloomington.
