Ranked No. 123 nationally and No. 22 at power forward by 247sports, Fayetteville (Ga.) product Kaleb Banks committed to Indiana on Friday, as announced through social media.

The 6-foot-8, 215 pound power forward played for the Atlanta Celtics AAU team, and among the teams on his radar were Mississippi State, Xavier, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Alabama.

Banks averaged 23.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game last season for Fayette County, shooting a stellar 63% from the field and drilling 40 three-pointers during his 29 games.

Since coach Mike Woodson arrived at IU, a number of Georgia-based players have been on his recruiting rolls, as newly hired Atlanta native Yasir Rosemond was brought on as an assistant.

Banks is the second commit to join the Hoosiers’ 2022 class, as guard/forward C.J. Gunn reaffirmed his IU pledge after committing under Archie Miller’s tenure.
