Falling behind by two scores fewer than three minutes in, little went right for No. 17 Indiana in their 34-6 season-opening loss to No. 18 Iowa on September 4.

Speaking to the media postgame, head coach Tom Allen said he is “concerned” about the possible extent of Matthews’ injury.
Tom Allen confirms postgame the QB change came because he didn’t want to keep Penix in the line of fire with the game out of reach. Devon Matthews is a greater worry.

For what it’s worth, Matthews took to Twitter Saturday night and attempted to quell the level of concern.
