The 2018 college football season has begun for many teams across the country already, but for Indiana, its season begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday against Florida International.

The Hoosiers hit the road to start the year and will be at home against Virginia on Sept. 8. Prior to the game against FIU, coach Tom Allen gave a quick preview:

Allen’s Hoosiers went 5-7 overall in 2017 and 2-7 in Big Ten play. Indiana will have a chance to go undefeated in non-conference play this season by starting against an FIU team that went 8-5 one season ago.

Allen points to the offensive and defensive lines as well as special teams as being key to the Hoosiers’ success. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
