Indiana football lost an edge rusher to the transfer portal on Sunday. This was after his first year with the program in 2022.

Dasan McCollough announced that he’ll be going into the portal from his Twitter account. The freshman for Indiana played in every game this season with 49 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks.

McCullough is the son of of Notre Dame RB coach Deland McCullough. McCullough should have plenty of eligibility left for whatever school he chooses to go to next.

This is what McCullough had to say about his decision:

“First off I would like to say thank you to Coach Allen, Coach Teegardin and the entire coaching staff at Indiana University, for giving me a chance to play in front of my hometown. After careful conversations with my family and God, I would to announce that I am entering the transfer portal.”

McCullough was a former 4-star recruit from the 2022 class per the 247Sports Composite.
