Indiana fans strip in protest as Hoosiers trail Rutgers at home
Crowds at college football games do strange things. Some throw golf balls. Some boo. Some start the wave. Some clap off-beat to popular songs. Some call for a different quarterback.
There are lots of ways to let the folks on the field know what the folks in the stands are thinking. At Indiana, apparently, they strip.
Watching the Hoosiers fall down big against noted Big Ten juggernaut Rutgers, a section of Indiana fans began to remove their clothing in supposed protest of yet another game slipping away from the 2-7 Hoosiers.
The movement began with just a few brave individuals.

But as these things tend to do, it grew and grew.

No matter that the temperature in Bloomington is sub-40 degrees. If they can brave the football they’ve seen on the field this year, they can brave whatever the elements throw at them.
