Indiana is getting some help in its defensive backfield. The Hoosiers flipped 3-star defensive back Jordan Shaw away from Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders.

Shaw, a California native, is listed as the 63rd-best cornerback in the 2023 class by 247Sports. Most of his other offers came from Pac-12 programs such as Washington, Washington State, Oregon, USC and Utah.

Shaw could provide help as a two-way player in Bloomington. As a senior, he caught 18 passes for 470 yards and 9 touchdowns. Shaw also added 4 rushing touchdowns and 3 scores on punt returns.

He joins an Indiana team that finished 4-8 last season under head coach Tom Allen. The Hoosiers lost seven of their final eight games amidst trouble at quarterback between Connor Bazelak, Jack Tuttle, and Dexter Williams II.

Who knows, maybe Shaw can take some snaps under center. The Hoosiers need a playmaker and he fits the description.
