The helmets are a cherry-red color with the word “LEO” on the visor. The jerseys are white with red lettering, and the pants are red with a white stripe down the side.
Indiana football was coached by Bill Mallory (1984-1996) for the majority of the decade, who was followed up by Cam Cameron (1997-2001) in the late 90s.
Mallory finished his Indiana coaching career with a 69-77-3 record over 13 seasons. He also has the most bowl game appearances (6) than any other Hoosier HC. Tom Allen isn’t too far behind (3), he needs just 3 more to tie Mallory’s number.
The uniforms are branded by Adidas and will be worn on the road to honor Mallory.
