Indiana football will be without multiple key players in its matchup with No. 4 Michigan. The last time that this was in Bloomington in 2020, the Hoosiers stunned the Wolverines.

The Hoosiers leading tackler, linebacker Cam Jones, won’t suit up. Their second leading receiver, D.J. Matthews Jr., will be out with a hamstring injury along with starting tight end A.J. Barner with a foot injury.

Indy Star’s Zach Osterman posted about the news.

On the defensive side, starting and former All-B1G cornerback Jaylin Williams will be out with a shoulder injury.

The injuries are a big blow to a team that desperately needs any help it can get against a very good Michigan team. Indiana relies heavily on its passing attack, but it took a huge blow, so someone will have to step up for quarterback Conner Bazelak if the Hoosiers want a shot at the upset.

The two teams will face off at noon on FOX.
