Indiana has a new member of the 1,000-point club!

Senior guard Al Durham officially hit the mark in Saturday’s action against Michigan. Durham surpassed the mark shortly after halftime.

Indiana Basketball recognized Durham’s accomplishment on Twitter:

Durham is a senior guard out of Lilburn, Georgia who has started 93 games in his career. He started all 32 games for Indiana last season and has started 22 this season entering Saturday’s game.

Durham is currently third for the Hoosiers in scoring this season at 11.5 points per game. His usage has been up a bit against the Wolverines as Indiana deals with the absence of second-leading scorer Armaan Franklin.

The Hoosiers are trying to avoid a three-game losing streak after back-to-back losses to Michigan State and Rutgers with the team in the midst of a potentially disastrous late-season skid. Unfortunately, the Wolverines are playing strong and building a big second-half lead over Indiana.

For his career, Durham is averaging 8.4 points per game. Congratulations to Durham for the career accomplishment!
