Indiana’s game vs. Texas has gone from bad to worse.

Starting guard Al Durham had to leave the Hoosiers’ game on Tuesday afternoon after appear to injure his ankle against the Longhorns.

Like the rest of the Hoosiers, Durham struggled offensively vs. Texas. He scored eight points on seven shots.

Indiana was trailing 54-31 at the time of Durham’s injury. The Hoosiers were shooting just 21 percent from the floor.

To make matters worse, Texas wasn’t playing particularly well either. The Longhorns were shooting just 37 percent from the floor and most of the roster was in foul trouble.

Durham is a senior who entered this game averaging 14 points per game on the young season. He’s also increased his rebounding (6 per game) and assists (3.5 per game) production so far this season.

Assuming Texas holds on, Indiana will move to 2-1 on the season. The Hoosiers have wins over Tennessee Tech and Providence.

Indiana will have the week off before playing No. 22 Florida State on Dec. 9.
