On the same day that Archie Miller was terminated as head coach at Indiana, the Hoosiers are seeing their third-leading scorer hit the NCAA transfer portal.

247Sports’ Travis Branham is reporting that guard Al Durham has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal and will explore his options elsewhere. He will be a graduate transfer, meaning he’ll be immediately eligible at his next destination.

Durham averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 38% from 3-point land.

It’s not uncommon to see multiple players from a school transfer following a change at head coach. Durham is the first and it remains to be seen if anyone else will follow him into the portal.

Miller was the head coach at Indiana for four seasons and compiled a career record of 67-56 while in Bloomington. The Hoosiers never made the NCAA Tournament during his time with the program.

The season came to an end for IU following a loss to Rutgers in the B1G Tournament. Indiana ended the year 12-15 with a 7-12 record in the B1G. Miller never had a record above .500 in conference play.
