Indiana guard Trey Galloway is going to undergo surgery on his broken wrist, per Zach Osterman of the IndyStar.

He suffered a broken wrist against St. John’s on Wednesday night, but the good news is that it won’t be season-ending.

Galloway comes into this season as a sophomore after playing in 25 games last season. He averaged 3.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game and led all freshmen with 492 minutes played.

He was expected to be more of a contributor this year before the injury. In Indiana’s game against Northern Illinois on Nov. 12, Galloway finished with 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The Hoosiers are 4-0 to start the season and will have to keep winning in Galloway’s absence. There’s no timetable for his return.

Their next game will be against LA-Lafayette this Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.
