Following a Brian Lewerke scramble for a first down late in the first half of Saturday’s game at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Indiana Hoosiers head coach Tom Allen was not happy with his defensive coordinator, Kane Wommack.

Our own Dustin Schutte captured footage of the encounter:

In his first season as the program’s defensive coordinator, Wommack originally joined the Indiana staff as the linebackers coach in 2018. He first worked with Allen at Ole Miss from 2012-13, when Allen was the Rebels’ linebackers/special teams coach and Wommack was a graduate assistant.

Off to a 3-1 start, Indiana’s defense is allowing 19.5 points per game, 34th of 130 FBS programs.

Thanks to two Darrell Stewart Jr. touchdown receptions, Michigan State holds a 21-14 lead at the half. The game is currently being broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
