Ola Adams, a former Penn State defensive analyst and analytics coordinator will stay in the Big Ten, but receive a promotion at Indiana as the new defensive backs/safeties coach under new coach Curt Cignetti, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Before Penn State, Adams was with the Denver Broncos as a defensive assistant, and previously coached for 3 years as Villanova’s defensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022.

Adams was named to the American Football Coaches Association’s 35 Under 35 list, which promotes the 35 best coaches under 35 years old.

Before the Broncos, Adams joined the Temple staff as co-defensive coordinator for about a month before he took the Broncos job.

Some of the other coaches reported to be on the staff are offensive coordinator/WRs coach Mike Shanahan, quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri, offensive line coach Bob Bostad, tight ends coach Grant Cain, defensive coordinator/LBs coach Bryant Haines, defensive line coach Pat Kuntz and defensive ends coach Buddah Williams.
