Indiana basketball reportedly reached out to high-upside North Carolina transfer Puff Johnson following his decision to enter the transfer portal following the end of the season. Johnson, who was essentially fazed out of North Carolina’s game plan this season after being a solid piece in UNC’s title run last year, has a lot of upside and could potentially serve Indiana well, should they truly be interested.

Johnson averaged 4.1 points and 2.7 rebounds this past season for the Tar Heels, scoring a season high 12 points against Louisville in January.

Indiana, naturally, is not the only school that reached out to Johnson. Other big names such as Kentucky, LSU, TCU, Arizona State, Pitt and West Virginia have reached out, per CBS’ Jon Rothstein.

Indiana basketball finished the season 23-12, falling to Miami in the Round of 32. The Hurricanes are playing fantastic basketball right now, locked with Texas in a battle for the Final Four Sunday evening.
