Indiana is hoping to have its new digs ready to go by the time the 2019 season kicks off.

Thanks to a $2 million gift from former Indiana football team captain Terry Tallen, the Hoosiers have been working on the Terry Tallen Football Complex, which includes the new team locker room, a coaches locker room, team lounge, equipment room, training room and a recruiting lounge. The goal, according to a report from TheHoosier.com, is to have the facility completed by late July.

Fall camp will begin on Aug. 2 for the Hoosiers.

“It’s huge,” Allen told TheHoosier.com. “Recruiting is all about facilities and fit and people coming and having a great feel when they get to the campus.”

Indiana’s new football complex project comes after the school completed a $53 million Excellence Academy facility, which enclosed the south endzone at Memorial Stadium.
