Indiana is in the running to land one of the best defensive tackles of the 2022 recruiting class.

Saturday, 4-star defensive lineman Christen Miller released his Top 4, and the Hoosiers were the only team from the B1G to make the cut. They’re in contention with Florida, Georgia and Georgia Tech. Miller appears ready to make a final decision on his future on April 4.

Miller is a 6-foot-5, 285-pound defensive tackle out of Ellenwood, Georgia. He’s received nearly two dozen offers during the recruiting process and has already narrowed his list down to four programs. Most interest came from teams in the SEC and ACC, but two other B1G teams — Michigan State and Nebraska — did offer the lineman.

Per 247Sports’ Composite rankings, Miller is listed as the No. 10 defensive tackle in the 2022 recruiting class. Overall, he ranks as the No. 159 prospect regardless of position.

IU defensive line coach Kevin Peoples has been the primary recruiter for Miller during the process, but Tom Allen hiring former Georgia defensive backs coach Charlton Warren to run the defense could be beneficial in Miller’s recruitment.

The Hoosiers currently have no pledges in the 2022 recruiting class.
