Indiana has a new commitment in its 2024 recruiting class.

The latest pledge comes from a defensive back out of Florida. Josh Philostin took to social media on Wednesday to announce his plans to play for the Hoosiers.

A West Palm Beach (Florida) Cardinal Newman standout, Philostin is listed as measuring 5-11, 175 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Philostin is rated 3-stars, the No. 41 cornerback, No. 60 recruit in the state of Florida and No. 487 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Philostin picked up scholarship offers from 30 schools, including Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers. He made it to Bloomington for a campus visit in June. He offered Hoosiers fans a preview of how he looks sporting No. 1 in cream and crimson.
