The Indiana Hoosiers haven’t won more than six games in a season since 2007, so second-year coach Tom Allen faces a big task as he gets his team ready for the 2018 campaign.

On Sunday afternoon, he got some help, though, as an experienced defensive tackle from Syracuse announced he was heading to Bloomington as a graduate transfer.

As you can see in the Instagram and Twitter posts below, DT Kayton Samuels is excited for his new team this fall:

As a graduate transfer, Samuels will be eligible to play right away, providing depth along the Hoosiers’ defensive line.

Samuels appeared in nine games for Syracuse last season, recording 12 tackles and one sack.
