Indiana lands key QB via transfer from Missouri
Indiana has landed a talented quarterback from the transfer portal. Missouri transfer quarterback Connor Bazelak announced on his Twitter account that he’s joining the Hoosiers.

While at Missouri, Bazelak was a two-year starter and the SEC Co-Freshman of the Year in 2020. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Bazelak completed 66 percent of his passes along with 5,084 yards with 23 touchdowns and 17 interceptions during his time at Missouri.
Bazelak is a 4-star transfer and the 8th-best transfer quarterback in the country, according to 247Sports.
In 2020, Bazelak passed for 2,366 yards, 7 touchdowns and 6 interceptions to earn SEC All-Freshman team honors and be selected Honorable Mention All-SEC by PFF. In 2019, Bazelak appeared in 3 games and he completed 71 percent of his passes for 144 yards.
Bazelak was regarded by the 247Sports Composite as a 4-star prospect in the Class of 2019.
Indiana finished the 2021 season with a 2-10 record and lost every game in B1G play.
